Studio to Plein Air Two-Day Oils Workshop at SNicholas Studios
August 7th & 8th, 2018, 9:30am-4:00pm
Each day will start out in Susan's home studio and then transition to an outdoor location. Carpool options will be available to offsite locations. Some supply samples available.
Class limit of 5 students.

Location: Susan Nicholas Studios: 351 E Bishop St, Bellefonte, PA 16823
Directions: Take Route 80 to the Bellefonte/Zion exit (exit 83). Go to stop light and turn right onto Bishop Street. Continue on past Bellefonte high school and go through 3 traffic lights. Go about 6 houses down the street. Mine will be on the right, 3rd red brick, with pillars painted cream and marked with 351.
Supply List: View the supply list here. This list is more than you need. It includes pastel supplies. Just look at the oil supplies. Remember, I will have anything you are missing.
Basic Itinerary:
Bring your easel and supplies inside my studio.
Demonstration in Nicholas Studios: We will meet at my home studio, have a short studio tour, and then I will do a demonstration on color mixing.
I will have each artist practice mixing at the studio before we all go out. We will be learning the basics of outdoor painting.
Bag Lunch: Each day we will share lunch either on location or at my home studio deck. Plan to pack a to go lunch. Water bottles can be refilled at my studio. Bring snacks for extra energy.
On Location Trip: We will be transferring your supplies to my car and travel to Fisherman's Paradise to paint along the creek in the shade.
