years. She works and teaches in all mediums, and welcomes new students of all levels and mediums.

Pastel Expressive Color Workshop

Discover how to see beyond the obvious within the landscape and use expressive color to capture the essence of mood and light in the earth, water, and sky. You will learn to see the depth of color and create a unique and personally expressive painting in this relaxed and upbeat class experience

Friday will be for pastels, and Saturday will be for oils. You can come for one or both days. For oil painters and pastelists, beginners to professionals, Susan will start each day with a demonstration that connects, inspires, and supports you at your level.

​Susan will be teaching a two-day workshop for all mediums at Rhoneymeade Arboretum. This is an exceptional location with extensive subject matter, ranging from unique trees, gardens, historic structures, fields, and mountain vistas with Central PA skies. Susan will begin each morning with a short inspirational demo designed to kick-start you into the creative spirit, aid in color expression, and prepare you for plein air set-ups.

Join Award-Winning Artist, Susan Nicholas Gephart in an upbeat class discovering how to see beyond the obvious within the landscape or subject of your choice.
One Two-Hour Class: $75/student
Limited to 5 students per class.

Sign yourself or a small group of friends up for a two-hour class with Susan at her home studio in Bellefonte, PA, and create a fully customizable learning experience. There is no start date or end date, just schedule a time that works for you! You can sign up for a single class or multiple classes, and you can even add on remote support.
