The Clinton County Arts Council presented a special showing of artwork by Susan Nicholas Gephart and a posthumous collection of works by David Hopkins. This was the first time their artwork had been shown together in over a decade. The show was held at The Station Gallery in Lock Haven, PA.

Penn State's Vice President For Student Affairs Office at 206 Old Main exhibits four paintings from Susan's "Focus On The Landscape" Exhibit.
Susan exhibits "Cloudscape" (36x36 in oil on linen) at Old Main, Penn State University. The reception is hosted by Damon Sims, Vice President for Student Affairs, and includes a formal program and recognition of each artist in this year's program.

Susan exhibited in "The Artful Season," a group show at the Packwood House Museum, Lewisburg, PA. Approximately 18 area artists are represented, including Susan Nicholas Gephart, David Seybold, Thomas Wise, Brad Shoemaker, Jeff Martin, Russ Kiefer, Diana Lehr, Jody and Cheryl Fallon, Cynthia Raught, Lynn Yancha, and Norman Rockwell.

As a 1979 BFA graduate of PSU, Susan Nicholas Gephart’s landscapes were featured in 1987 at The HUB Gallery of The Penn State University in a show entitled, “Focus on the Landscape”. Now in 2009 Susan has returned with an exhibit entitled the same. With more than 30 years of ”Plein Air” painting and exploration of color and atmosphere, Susan’s artistic creativity has captured her love, joy and the beauty of the Earth’s ever changing sky, water and land.
