Jim, 2019

I recently had the opportunity to take a painting workshop with Susan Nicholas. I have been an on and off painter for 20 years and felt I was in need of some sort of new focus and direction. Susan provided both great technical instruction as well as some wonderful new thinking about my painting purpose. I came away with spiritual and philosophical insights about my life as an artist as well as new actionable items specific to improving my work. I learned about some great new mediums and materials I did not even know existed! I appreciated the clear passion and caring she brings to her teaching ethics. Not even a downpour caused her to pack it in or shortchange the day's lessons! I would whole-heartedly recommend a workshop with Susan for any painter who feels the need of new nuggets of inspiration and knowledge.
